We are making our "Newest Trail" system,
which will put us into Cato eventually, we are always
in need of HELP to make new trails, please call for
more info @ our member services @ 315-776-4575.....
* The DEC is buying
up more land that was part of our trail system
and closing it to ATV riders. Please be aware
of DEC posted areas. If you are caught,
they will stop you and confiscate your ATV.
This important
news just in from the Tug Hill:
Side by side
machines, Mules, Rangers, and the like, that were
not registered and insured were rounded up by the
dozens and removed from the trails this past weekend
at the SNIRT run. Sheriffs, state police and DEC
stopped and ticketed EVERY unregistered side by machine
that they could find. Until this gets resolved you
can do one of two things. One.....do not go to
the Tug hill Plateau to ride with your side by side,
or two...go to the Pennsylvania DMV website. Tell
them that you intend on doing a lot of riding in
PA, and register your side by side there. Then you
can legally ride on the Hill. A bill is in the
works to get these machines registered in New York.
We knew that this day would surely come......more
money for the state to steal from us!!! As soon as
the bill information is available, we will pass it
along to you all.
Reminder
Notice: During a
club ride, a member was consuming alcohol and the
police were notified. While the member was
not legally intoxicated, it was determined they had
been drinking. This person is no longer a member. We
have a standing policy of zero tolerance for alcohol
or drugs when riding the trails or attending a club
function. It's the law. Do not drink
and ride!
Where
is There to Ride Anymore? This
article which appeared in the Wayne County Star
on 1/9/2008 is published in its entirety, with
due credits to the paper and to the contributing
writer.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:
THE RAILROAD BRIDGE (on the old railroad bed) FROM SAVANNAH
TO CLYDE IS CLOSED!!!!
TO ALL MEMBERS
IN THE ALL COUNTY ATV CLUB:
You cannot legally cross a bridge on a state highway. We are trying to get some
kind of permit or something. I do not want any misunderstandings and getting
yourself in trouble. The only LEGAL way is to push your machine across the bridge
with your motor OFF, until we get something worked out.
Anyone who would
like to make a tax deductible donation to The
Savannah Chamber of Commerce, please call Chuck
Carman at 315-365-3500....They are good friends of your
club.
The
Potato Fest was a HUGE-HUGE success !!!!! :-)
A
million thanks to all who volunteered there time & efforts
to "PREPARE" all aspects of the Mud Bog,
put signage on the property, make signs, cut grass,
dig the Mud Bog, purchasing of food, drinks, candy,
ect., collection of all sales, donations, register
guests, sign up new members, work the security gates,
set up tents, chairs, tables, grills, make coffee,
return rented equipment ,remove garbage.
THEN,
to remove & take down all tents, chairs, tables,
ect. & return to the places they belong......If
anything or any aspects are missed I apologize. You
have the gratification to know you helped your club & did
the right thing..
As you see, to put on an "EVENT" is a big undertaking & we always,
always need your help. That is what truly makes an ordinary club form an "Extra-Ordinary" club....
Thanks again everyone....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE STAY OFF
OF GRASS ON THE HILL APPROACHING THE SAVANNAH RT.31
BRIDGE. THE TOWN OF SAVANNAH HAS POSTED OFFICIAL
SIGNS THERE TO KEEP OFF, SO LET'S OBEY THEM AND KEEP
OURSELVES RESPECTFUL TO PROTECT OUR RIDING.
• On July
10th, the Village of Port Byron reviewed our request
to have limited access on Village streets and has
denied us. All club members & guests are not
permitted to ride the Village streets. If any members
or guests choose to ride on these streets, they are
on there own!
